Trivia
In this episode, we learn that Dean's famous Impala was given to him by his
father.
When telling the legend of the Colt, John says it was made the same night in 1835 when all the men died at the Alamo. The Battle of the Alamo, however, occurred in 1836.
Webmasters' Thoughts
Hoppy says, "The vampires are kinda 'meh', but I do like that the show attempts to create some of their own vampire lore instead of just stealing from every other show or movie about vampires. What is more important about this episode is the introduction of the Colt and that John finally decides to work with his boys as a team. It's hard for me to rank this high on my list of episodes when the next two after it are so brilliant, but I'll say it's still a good episode despite a few flaws. Any time you get all three Winchester men together -- it's never bad."
Jen says, "Nothing yet!"
